The Jewish Food Society’s mission is to preserve, celebrate and revitalize Jewish cuisine to enable powerful connections to Jewish and Israeli culture. The Jewish Food Society provides a platform to engage with Jewish culture through food. Recipes and the stories behind them carry the essence of who we are as individuals, as families and as a people. The Jewish Food Society tells those stories through a digital recipe archive, pop-up dinners, cooking classes, special events and the signature live storytelling event, “Schmaltzy” — an evening of storytelling that combines kibbitzing and eating.
